The Schedules Tab
This is where you manage your list of schedules: creating new ones, activating the one you want to work on, changing schedule titles, etc.
Each schedule that you have created appears in a list in the top part of this page.
Activate Button: The hand is pointing to your active schedule. The setup, planning, and report tabs will allow you to work on this active schedule. To activate a schedule, click on the activate button next to it.
Update title: Sets the title you enter in the edit box.
Sharing key: This is a unique identifier for your schedule that can be used in several places. You can send this to someone else to enable them to get a copy of your schedule that they can edit for themselves. They will not be able to change your schedule directly.
Duplicate: makes a complete copy of the schedule. This is useful if you generate a schedule but want to experiment with some minor alterations–or for starting with last year’s schedule to make one for this year.
Delete: permanently removes this schedule from our system. Be careful.
This starts a new, entirely blank schedule. The next step will be selecting the type of schedule to create.
Copy a Shared Schedule
This form permits you to have an editable copy of some other schedule so long as you know its sharing key.
Changes you make to your copy do not affect the original schedule, and future changes to original will not be reflected in yours.
This form will clone one of your existing schedules while removing classes that occur before the stated time. This lets you create a Late Start schedule which could contain any adjustments that are necessary for those days.
This form will clone one of your existing schedules while removing classes that occur after the stated time. This lets you create an Early Dismissal schedule which could contain any adjustments that are necessary for those days.
Merge Classroom Schedule
This form permits you to capture core classes from a Classroom-only schedule back into your master schedule. You must have the sharing key for the class schedule and your master schedule must be active.
Pressing the “See list” button will show you what is available for import and let you hook up the incoming assignments to specific classes in your master.
